LA Clippers


The Los Angeles Clippers began as The Buffalo Braves. The team was founded in 1970 and played their home games at the Buffalo Memorial Centre. The Los Angeles Clippers (then the Buffalo Braves) relocated to San Diego, California in 1978 and became The San Diego Clippers. In 1984 The Los Angeles Clippers moved once again to Los Angeles, and changed their name from The San Diego Clippers to The Los Angeles Clippers. They first played their LA home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena moving later to The Staples Centre. The Los Angeles Clippers play in the pacific division of the NBA’s Western Conference.
