Denver Broncos Store

In 1961, Arthur B. Modell purchased the Cleveland Browns for a $4 million, a small figure for an NFL football team with such potential. But Modell stunned fans in 1995 when he announced that he would transfer the Cleveland Browns franchise to Baltimore in 1996. The Cleveland Browns reached the post-season playoffs 22 times in their first 40 years in the NFL. In addition to their 4 NFL championships between 1950 and 1964, the Cleveland Browns won 11 NFL American/Eastern Conference championships and 3 NFL Century Division titles. The Cleveland Browns also won the AFC Central Division championships in 1971, 1980, 1985, 1986, 1987 and 1989 making them one of the greatest football teams of all time.
